Ride a bike that can prevent haze.

The haze is back, and many people who love morning exercises have chosen to stay indoors. However, for the general public who need to ride a bike to work, such weather is definitely a challenge.

In order to combat smog, a Bangkok-based tech team called Lightfog has developed a smog-proof bicycle named Air Purifier Bike with air purification function, which can prevent haze to some extent.

It is reported that this kind of bicycle adopts a photosynthesis system to purify the air. During the riding process, pollutants and dust are adsorbed by the filter under the handlebar to purify the air, then oxygen is produced and carbon dioxide is converted into organic matter through the photosynthesis system (a complex device including a small water tank). In addition, the water and electricity generated after its battery works can be reused continuously.

During the rotation of the bicycle, the polluted air is sucked in by an electric air purifier on the frame of the bike head, then the airborne pollutants are filtered inside it, and finally the purified air is discharged through the vents on the frame. That is to say, not only will the owner of this bike breathe fresh air, but also the pedestrians passing by will benefit from it for a while.
