Host: May 19th of this year is the first World Hepatitis Day, with the theme set as "Am I the twelfth?". Please allow Professor Zhuang Hui to first explain the origin of World Hepatitis Day and the significance of this theme.

Zhuang Hui: In 2004, the European Hepatitis Patient Association initiated a global hepatitis day, which was mainly in Europe, and then it happened once every year, growing larger in scale. On November 4, 2007, the World Hepatitis Alliance was established. Considering the severity of the viral hepatitis epidemic globally, the alliance decided to initiate an annual World Hepatitis Day. The purpose of World Hepatitis Day is to call on the public to strengthen their understanding of viral hepatitis and its prevention and treatment work.
