A fire broke out at about 3:20 a.m. on May 1 at a Home Inn Express Hotel in the Dongchang district of Tonghua city, Jilin province. The big fire was put out at more than 4 a.m.. The fire has so far caused 10 deaths and 35 were injured. Most people were hurt due to suffocation from dense smoke.
