Zhou Haiying was born in Shanghai. He was the only son of Lu Xun and Xu Guangping, and in 1952 he studied radio major in the Department of Physics of Peking University. After graduation, he worked as an official at the State Administration of Radio, Film and Television. Now he is a member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference, and has written books such as "Lu Xun and I in Seventy Years".
