For many rheumatoid arthritis patients, it is easy to confuse rheumatoid arthritis with rheumatic arthritis during treatment. So, what is rheumatoid arthritis? Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease with multi-system inflammation that mainly involves peripheral joints. The clinical manifestations are mainly symmetrical pain, swelling, deformity and dysfunction of multiple peripheral joints; the degree of pain is uncertain and related to weather changes and activity.
