The general public often perceives that the electromagnetic radiation from public mobile phone base stations is relatively high and may affect health. On the other hand, for mobile phones, which are small in size, have lower power, and no obvious antenna, people generally believe that their electromagnetic radiation intensity is less than that of the base stations. So, between mobile phones and public mobile phone cell base stations, which one has a greater potential harm in terms of electromagnetic radiation? This article analyzes their electromagnetic radiation situations by introducing national and international standards on electromagnetic radiation for both mobile phones and base stations, as well as specific test data.
