Infant night crying is commonly seen in infants under 3 months old. The characteristics are that the babies play and smile as usual during the day, but cry restlessly at night, or cry at fixed time every night, or even cry all night long. In the view of TCM, the causes are mostly due to the heat accumulated along the heart meridian, the spleen and stomach deficiency-cold, and fear.
