A latest research finding in the United States shows that the risk of men with infertility suffering from aggressive prostate cancer is 2.6 times higher than that of fertile men. Researchers suggest that men with infertility should pay special attention to prostate examinations.

The study involved 22,000 men with infertility and an equal number of fertile men. After a 10-year follow-up survey, researchers found that the proportion of fertile men suffering from prostate cancer was 0.4%, while the proportion of infertile men suffering from prostate cancer was 1.2%. After considering age factors, the risk of infertile men suffering from prostate cancer is 160% higher than other men.

According to data provided by the US government, prostate cancer is a common disease affecting American men after skin cancer. The United States sees 192,000 new cases of prostate cancer each year, with 27,000 deaths caused by this disease. Most American medical institutions recommend that men should regularly undergo prostate examinations starting at the age of 50.
