According to the latest statistics in medicine, more than 50% of the young and middle-aged hypertensive patients in our country are asymptomatic. Most of them have not been paid attention to by the patients, nor have they been treated. Experts remind that asymptomatic hypertension is not equal to harmless, so it must be found as early as possible and intervened as soon as possible.

The proportion of "50% of young and middle-aged hypertensive patients" is still conservative. In fact, among the young and middle-aged people with hypertension, almost 90% are asymptomatic. Here, young and middle-aged people refer to those aged between 20 and 40, which directly leads to the neglect of this disease by young and middle-aged patients. In fact, getting hypertension earlier does more harm to the cardiovascular system than getting it later, because it continuously and slowly damages the cardiovascular system at any time. Therefore, it is suggested that young and middle-aged people should pay more attention to the harm of hypertension than the elderly.

It is recommended that young and middle-aged hypertensive patients undergo regular physical examinations, eat less salt (please refer to Hypertension Food Therapy), exercise more, reduce tension, and use drugs reasonably, striving to control blood pressure to the ideal level, rather than just the normal level. Generally speaking, for young and middle-aged people, a value of 130/80 mmHg is relatively ideal, so as to avoid potential risks such as complications caused by hypertension and excessive vascular sensitivity when they get older.
