The stomach is an important organ of the human body, and all nutrients must be processed by it before they can be utilized by the human body. I have previously written many articles about the maintenance of gastrointestinal diseases, but many people do not take good care of their stomachs. Irregular eating habits and smoking can all harm the stomach. For this reason, I have prepared a 24-hour "stomach protection" plan for everyone.
7:00 AM - A glass of warm water after waking up. After brushing your teeth in the morning, drink half to one glass of warm water. This can replenish lost water, promote gastrointestinal peristalsis, and help the stomach prepare for breakfast.
8:00 AM - The best time for breakfast. Breakfast should ideally be taken one hour after waking up, with a four-hour interval before lunch. Long-term skipping of breakfast can lead to nutritional imbalance and increase the risk of gallstones.
12:00 PM - Don't nap right after lunch. Lunch time should be as ample as possible. Don't rush through your meal and immediately return to work. It's best to stay still for a while after eating to ensure that a large amount of blood flows to the gastrointestinal tract, allowing it to function normally. Additionally, it's not advisable to nap right after lunch; it's better to rest for a bit before sleeping.
2:00 PM - "A cigarette after a meal sends you to heaven early." Smoking causes blood vessels to constrict, reducing the stomach's protective ability. Nicotine and other toxins also enter saliva, which can lead to gastric ulcers.
4:00 PM - Snacks are most "stomach-protecting". If you feel hungry in the afternoon, you can moderately supplement with some snacks and fruits. Long-term fasting can easily lead to gastric ulcers and gastrointestinal dysfunction.
7:00 PM - Stand for half an hour after dinner. People with gastroesophageal reflux should avoid lying down or sitting immediately after meals, as stomach acid may flow back into the esophagus, worsening symptoms. It's best to stand for half an hour after meals, but avoid strenuous exercise, which can cause indigestion.
8:00 PM - Don't be a "couch potato" within an hour after meals. This is the time when fat accumulates most easily. Try not to sit in front of the TV as a "couch potato". You can take a walk or jog instead.
10:00 PM - Try not to eat before going to bed. Drinking milk before bed isn't a "healthy remedy" for everyone. Doing so can stimulate the secretion of gastric acid and bile, so people with poor stomach health should avoid eating before bed.
