Cardiovascular diseases include hypertension, hyperlipidemia, coronary heart disease, arrhythmia, myocardial infarction, myocardial ischemia, sudden cardiac death, etc. The main symptoms of cardiovascular diseases generally include some type of chest pain (angina, stabbing pain, pressure pain, etc.), shortness of breath, fatigue, palpitations (often indicating a slower, faster or irregular heartbeat), dizziness, fainting, etc. Currently, the most common cardiovascular disease is coronary heart disease, which is what people often refer to as chest tightness and chest pain. Many people are familiar with the term angina. In terms of symptoms, angina falls under coronary heart disease and myocardial infarction. Another more common condition is hypertension, which is also considered a type of cardiovascular disease. There's also arrhythmia, which people often describe as an irregular heartbeat, such as premature beats, atrial fibrillation, slow heart rate, palpitations, etc., all of which fall under this category.
