Wang Xia*, male, 35 years old, was admitted to the hospital with the chief complaint of "coldness and pain in the left foot for 2 years, worsened with ulceration for 8 days." Special examination: the skin temperature of the left foot was lower than normal, with an average temperature of about 32°C, while the right foot's skin temperature was normal, with an average temperature of about 35°C. The tips of the second and third toes on the left foot were blackened, all toe creases were white and exudative, with ulceration in the creases between the second and third toes. A roughly 2x1 cm ulcer was visible on the second toe, with a reddish wound surface and slight granulation tissue growth. Thick yellowish-white secretions were observed in the toe creases. No palpable dorsalis pedis or posterior tibial artery pulses were detected in the left foot, while the arterial pulses in the right foot were still detectable. The preliminary diagnosis was thromboangiitis obliterans. For treatment, medications for promoting blood circulation to remove blood stasis, unblocking meridians to relieve pain, and clearing heat to detoxify (Tongxuebao series drugs: Tongxue oral liquid, Tongxue Kang, Tongxue pills) were administered.
