(1) For early-stage vasculitis patients, there are no particular dietary restrictions, but they should consume less spicy and stimulating foods such as peppers and garlic, and drink less alcohol. During the necrotic phase, one should eat high-nutrition, easily digestible, and less irritating foods, consume more fruits and vegetables, and eat less pork, fish, and shrimp. Some warm-natured foods can be selected, such as beef, mutton, and chicken, which help to warm the meridians and promote circulation. Avoid eating raw and cold foods, and eat less or none of the sticky foods like rice cakes (nian gao) and sesame candy.

(2) It’s important to keep warm appropriately, prevent trauma, and seek treatment in a timely manner. Trauma not only exacerbates vascular damage and spasm but also reduces the infection resistance of limbs that are already in an ischemic state, making wounds difficult to heal. Patients need to cooperate with the treatment plan.
