Researchers from the University of Michigan recently released a research report on male life expectancy. The report states that men aren't as strong as we think they are. Due to pressures from all sides, the lifespan of men is shortening and male health is under unprecedented threat.
Indisputable facts
The latest survey from the University of Michigan did not specify the difference in life expectancy between men and women, only stating that the probability of death for young and middle-aged men is three times higher than for women. However, according to long-term surveys conducted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Population Organization, men on average live 5 to 10 years less than women, and in some countries, this difference is increasing year by year.
For example, in our country, in the 1970s, men lived one year less than women, two years less in the 1980s, four years less in the 1990s, and entered the 21st century living five years less. In the United States, the general statistic is that men live seven years less than women.
