The 264 Hospital of the Chinese People's Liberation Army was established in 1946. Its predecessor was the Third Branch of Bethune International Peace Hospital, and it is currently located on Qiandong Street in Yingze District, Taiyuan City, Shanxi Province. The 264 Hospital is the largest comprehensive hospital in Shanxi Province under the Beijing Military Region that integrates medical treatment, teaching, and research. It is a teaching hospital for the Third Military Medical University, Bethune Military Medical College, Shanxi Medical University, Shanxi Workers Medical College, and Shanxi Traditional Chinese Medicine College.
