In Traditional Chinese Medicine, stomach cancer belongs to "Yi Ge", "Fan Wei", "Zheng Jia", "Ji Ju" and "stomachache". It is the leading cause of death from digestive tract malignant tumors. In recent years, the incidence of gastric cancer in our country has been increasing year by year, while the age of onset has significantly decreased. From a Western medicine perspective, the causes of gastric cancer are closely related to genetic factors, gastric diseases, environmental factors, and dietary factors. According to traditional Chinese medicine, the occurrence of gastric cancer is caused by irregular diet, deficiency of vital energy, emotional disorder, and invasion of toxins. In terms of etiology and pathogenesis, gastric cancer should be classified as a fundamental deficiency with actual symptoms. Clinically, if there are symptoms such as upper abdominal distension, stomach pain, acid reflux, belching, unexplained weight loss, loss of appetite, fullness in the upper abdomen, and pain, timely examination and diagnosis are required.
