Prostatitis is a common and frequently-occurring disease among young and middle-aged men, often caused by urethritis, seminal vesicle inflammation or epididymitis. Clinically, it can be classified into acute and chronic, bacterial infection and non-infection, specific and non-specific. It may present without any symptoms, or it may also cause persistent or recurrent urinary and genital system infections.
