Organic food is an international general term, translated directly from the English "Organic Food". In other languages, it may also be called ecological or bio-food, among other names. The term "organic" used here does not refer to the concept in chemistry, but rather indicates the adoption of an organic farming and processing method. Organic food refers to products that are produced and processed according to this method; meet the requirements and standards of international or national organic food regulations; and have been certified by a national certification body. This includes all agricultural by-products and their processed goods, such as grains, vegetables, fruits, dairy products, poultry and livestock products, honey, aquaculture products, seasonings, etc.
