Abstract: In order to cultivate the students' water saving awareness, the school's general affairs office, student office and Youth League Committee jointly carried out water-saving promotional activities. Using campus radio, blackboard newspapers, and Olympic water-saving promotional panels as carriers, they spread water-saving knowledge, making water conservation a voluntary action for teachers and students alike. In their water-saving efforts, they converted abandoned air-raid shelters into rainwater cisterns, which can store 2000 cubic meters of water during the rainy season. The school uses this rainwater to flush toilets and irrigate flowers and trees, etc. They also contacted the water-saving office and installed 38 water-saving devices such as timers, infrared sensors, and sound controls. This alone saved 70% of the water usage in toilets.
