How to check the dial of a watch

Observe whether the 3 o'clock mark on the watch dial is directly aligned with the watch handle; if not, it indicates that the dial has rotated and the two dial feet have fallen off. Check for any arc-shaped scratches on the paint film of the dial; if present, this suggests either the hour or minute hand has loosened and scratched the dial, or the dial feet have become loose causing the time wheel spring to push the dial upwards, resulting in contact between the dial and the hands. Shake the watch near your ear; if there is a significant noise, it may indicate that the dial feet have broken or the dial screw has come loose. If the watch has stopped working, it is likely due to the dial screw falling out and getting lodged in the movement, jamming the gears and preventing operation.
