Smelling the wine is the second step in wine tasting, which refers to using our sense of smell to distinguish various aromas emitted by the wine. Our nose can already identify certain scents, but in order to enhance its effectiveness during wine tasting, we need to employ some techniques. To better differentiate the smells, we categorize the aromas by levels and types.
