1. According to composition and structure: blends, copolymers, crystalline, liquid crystal, ring polyester chips, etc.;

2. According to performance, they can be divided into: colorable, flame retardant, anti-static, moisture absorbing, anti-pilling, antibacterial, bleaching, low melting point, high viscosity polyester chips, etc.

2. According to their uses, they can be divided into: fiber-grade polyester chips, bottle-grade polyester chips, film-grade polyester chips (mainly different process indicators). Fiber-grade polyester chips can be further divided according to the content of TiO2 as a delustering agent: super glossy (highly glossy), glossy, semi-delustered, fully delustered polyester chips. There are also cationic polyester chips.

* Super glossy polyester chips: refers to chips without TiO2, with a standard appearance of colorless transparent granules.

* Glossy polyester chips: containing 0.1% TiO2, semi-transparent granules.

* Semi-delustered polyester chips: containing 0.3~0.5% TiO2, appearing as milky white or gray granules.

* Fully delustered polyester chips: containing 2.5% TiO2.

* Cationic polyester chips: appear as transparent (slightly yellow) granules, with uniform particles.

* High water-absorbing polyester chips: made by adding specific additives (pore-forming agents) to PET resin.

* Far-infrared polyester chips: ceramic powder is added during the synthesis of PET resin. Due to the special function of ceramic powder in emitting far-infrared rays, the fibers produced have good heat storage, warmth preservation, and promote blood circulation for health care effects.

* Flame-retardant polyester chips: phosphorus-based flame retardants are added to PET resin to obtain copolymer flame-retardant chips. The fibers produced have ideal heat resistance and flame-retardant properties.

* Fluorescent brightening polyester chips: fluorescent brightening agents are added during the synthesis of PET resin, allowing them to uniformly disperse in the resin. The resulting chips exhibit significant fluorescence. In fiber products, they can enhance the whiteness of natural fabrics or the brightness of colored fabrics.

* Antibacterial polyester chips: nano-silver inorganic antibacterial agents are used, synthesized through unique processes, which can be processed into various specifications of antibacterial polyester fibers.
