When it comes to holy places for the art of chocolate, Belgium and Switzerland come to mind, but now a new Guinness World Record has been set in Armenia, where the world's largest chocolate was made, the Daily Mail reported.

The chocolate, made by the Super Candy Factory in Yerevan, Armenia, weighs 9,702 pounds (4.4 tons). Elizabeth Smith, the representative of the Guinness World Organizing Committee, awarded the Guinness certificate to Val Danyan, the head of the factory, on the 12th.

Danyan said the move was to celebrate the company's 10th anniversary. The previous record was set by an Italian in 2007.
