Episode 6
Xiangqin receives a notice from the school informing her that she lacks enough credits to graduate. Heartbroken, Xiangqin says she no longer wants to study and instead focus on being Zhishu's wife. Zhishu criticizes Xiangqin for having no goals in life and using him as an excuse to avoid real-life problems. Xiangqin gets angry at Zhishu, calling him a genius who doesn't need effort and thus can't understand her struggles. With Yushu also criticizing Xiangqin nearby, she runs away from home.
Xiangqin goes to seek refuge with Chunmei and learns that Chunmei is already eligible to graduate. Feeling even more unable to voice her reasons for arguing, Xiangqin becomes even more upset when she sees how affectionate Chunmei and her boyfriend Abou are. She then decides to stay temporarily at Liu Nong's house. Worrying whether Zhishu might feel lonely because of her absence, Xiangqin stays awake all night thinking about it.
At school, Xiangqin sneaks around to see if Zhishu seems melancholy due to her disappearance but finds that he acts just as usual. This makes Xiangqin even angrier. Her mother tells Zhishu to give Xiangqin a way out and bring her back, but Zhishu refuses.
After three days away from home, Zhishu still shows no concern for Xiangqin, making her worried and unable to imagine that Zhishu might not care about her at all. Realizing she has caused trouble for the Liu family, Xiangqin excuses herself by saying she needs to go home and departs.
Yushu knows that Xiangqin sought refuge with Liu Nong and feels responsible for pushing her to leave home. When Yushu waits outside the Liu house with his dog, he notices that Xiangqin is about to leave. He follows her as she wanders the streets and becomes anxious when he sees her get into a stranger’s car.
The man who lured Xiangqin says he wants her to be a model, claiming it's a great opportunity for her to become independent and impress others—something Xiangqin wants to prove to Zhishu. She agrees to the man's proposal.
While Zhishu is being scolded by his mother at home for being cold towards Xiangqin, he receives a call from Yushu.
Xiangqin discovers that she was brought to shoot adult films. Afraid and resisting, she is rescued by Yushu and the dog. Yushu persuades Xiangqin to go home, but she says she is too dependent on Zhishu and won't return until she finds her own goal. Standing in the shadows, Zhishu hears Xiangqin's words.
At school, Xiangqin secretly watches Zhishu and can hardly believe that she is his wife. She makes a wish to become a woman worthy of Zhishu. Xiangqin starts working at a roast goose shop and lives there. She often makes mistakes with the dishes and calculations, which terrifies the shop owner. At this time, Zhishu's mother comes looking for her, and Xiangqin asks what her mother had hoped for her in the past.
At school, Xiangqin tells her friends about her situation, saying she will no longer meet Jiang and asks them not to tell Zhishu. But because she no longer sees Zhishu, Xiangqin feels lonely.
At the roast goose shop, Zhishu suddenly comes to eat there, shocking Xiangqin. Her clumsiness causes Zhishu to choke, but under Zhishu's guidance, Xiangqin finally manages to save him. This cooperation confirms Xiangqin's desire to become a nurse assisting Zhishu. Zhishu takes Xiangqin home, they reconcile, and their love returns to its former state.
