Hebei University "1016" campus car accident case was openly heard in Wangdu County People's Court of Hebei Province on the 26th. On the evening of October 16, 2010, suspect Li Qiming drove his friend's Magotan car in the new campus living area of Hebei University under the influence of alcohol. He ran down two female students and was detained by the security guards and students afterward. The police identified him as dangerous driving after blood testing. One of the victims, Chen Xiaofeng, died due to ineffective rescue.
