The First Time:
After a round of cliched pleasantries, I felt that she was more straightforward than charming, and I decided to reject her. When I was figuring out how to refuse without hurting her feelings, the girl suddenly said, "Is this your first blind date?"
"Yes, it is," I replied.
"My friends say that if there's no major dissatisfaction, it's best to marry the person you meet for the first time..."
"Oh? Why is that?"
"Many of my friends say this: the more times you go on blind dates, the less satisfied you'll be with the other person. Seeing you makes me realize that I should have listened to their advice earlier!" She said with a look of regret.
