by hsforever on 2009-11-06 02:00:38

Cultural hunting, in a figurative sense, involves effectively predicting future trends by observing the behavior and consumption preferences of consumers. Among the target consumers, opinion leaders or trendsetters often provide more valuable information, making them more valuable targets for cultural hunting. In 2007, Antenen conducted a cultural hunting operation for a Chinese sports goods company. Through 20 random interviews, 10 interviews with industry leaders, 3 accompanied shopping trips and home visits, as well as 5,000 pictures, they categorized people's shopping preferences, differentiated between trendsetters and quick responders, outlined the general direction of future trends and consumer tendencies, and then helped their client develop corresponding supply plans and brand strategies.
