The Fujian (China) College Media Alliance was founded on December 21, 2008, a winter day filled with pride. I, as the founder of the alliance, like to think of it as a family - young but vibrant. After the establishment of this family, we from all over Fujian rarely got together, and occasional phone calls were always rushed. For half a year, we haven't successfully organized a single event. Sometimes pressure is indeed the source of motivation. It wasn't until Secretary-General Teacher Chen Qiang organized an event, emphasizing that this trip would decide the survival or demise of the college media, that I, who usually detests traveling by car, still decided to go because my "child" was in dire straits. On the bus, I saw many familiar faces. Everyone talked about everything under the sun, creating a harmonious atmosphere, and the feeling of family returned. Everyone also contributed ideas for the future development of the college media, and I seemed to see once again the spirited college media of the past, full of confidence. Sometimes we are very lucky, because compared to ordinary social organizations, the college media is blessed. Its guiding organization is powerful - the renowned China Youth Daily both domestically and internationally; its guiding teacher is exceptional - an outstanding journalist from the China Youth Daily and a popular blogger, Teacher Chen Qiang; and its family members are comprehensive - responsible individuals from the mainstream student media of various universities, a group of talented young people. I believe that the Fujian college media will continue to flourish, and I believe that our family will become even stronger.
