The University Media Alliance of Fujian, China was founded on December 21st, 2008, a winter day filled with pride. I, as the founder of the alliance, like to see the alliance as a family, young but full of vitality. After the establishment of this family, we from all over Fujian seldom got together, and occasional phone contacts were also rushed. For half a year, we haven't organized a single event. Sometimes pressure is really the source of motivation. Until Secretary-General of the alliance, Teacher Chen Qiang, organized an activity and emphasized that this trip would decide the survival of the school media. Even though I usually hate taking buses, I still went because my "child" was in a precarious situation. On the bus, I saw many familiar faces. We talked about everything under the sun, happily and harmoniously. The feeling of family came back again. Everyone also contributed ideas for the future development of the school media. I seemed to see the confident school media of the past again. Sometimes we are very lucky, because the school media is happier than ordinary association organizations. Its guiding unit is very powerful - it's the renowned domestic and foreign China Youth Daily; its guiding teacher is very capable - an outstanding reporter of the China Youth Daily and a popular blogger, Teacher Chen Qiang; its family members are very comprehensive - they are the leaders of the mainstream student media from various universities, a group of talented young people. I believe that the Fujian school media will continue to grow stronger and our family will become more powerful.
