Extension project: Marsh Crossing

All team members stand on two 10-meter-long planks, which are placed on three iron barrels that are 1.2 meters high. Neither people nor planks can touch the ground. Within 40 minutes, move the barrels and planks to a target location 10 meters away.

Project Sharing Points:

1) Proactive awareness + standardized information + feedback confirmation = good communication.

2) Through the expansion training project activities, we all deeply realize the importance of communication and feedback. In real work and life, various types of communication are needed. The more points and levels there are in communication, the more obstacles there will be. Just like our company, if there are too many organizational structure levels, it will cause difficulties in information transmission, slow departmental actions, and low efficiency.

3) Cultivate trainees' awareness of listening to others' opinions in real life, especially for managers in enterprises. When making decisions, they should seek advice widely, especially being good at listening to those faint voices. "A foot has its shortness, an inch has its length." There are no useless people in a team, only misplaced talents. The issue lies in how to leverage each person's strengths. In the 'Canoe Shoes' expansion training project, those who are physically strong should use their advantages to move the planks and oil barrels, while those with broad thinking should come up with a feasible plan. In management, placing people with specialized skills in positions where they can leverage their strengths is based on this principle.

Training Objectives:

1. How to conduct effective communication under obstacles.

2. Cultivate trainees' awareness of mutual communication and improve their ability to overcome communication barriers;

3. Cultivate trainees' ability to reasonably allocate human resources and collaborate when solving problems;

4. Cultivate trainees' systematic thinking abilities.
