The home tutoring class at 6 o'clock in the morning

If you have ever been a private tutor, what time did your earliest class start? Mine started at 6 in the morning!

Because my classes were very popular, students who had tried my teaching usually adapted well to my style. Therefore, as long as I was willing, my schedule was almost always full unless something came up.

Getting up early for tutoring was worth it.

However, I once met a very special student. I told him that I had no more available time for classes unless it was very early in the morning, and he actually said, "I can consider it!" So we arranged a trial session where he could experience my teaching method. As expected, he really liked my way of teaching and thought I was better than other teachers. Thus, we agreed on every Sunday morning at 6 o'clock. This continued for a month, and it was obvious that he was very tired each time he came for the class, except for the first official class when he seemed excited. Finally, he said, "Teacher, I will be busier in the coming period. I will confirm with you a few days before the next class!" And then, he never showed up again.

After a long while, a parent of one of my previous students asked me to tutor her son's younger brother. Because of our relationship, I couldn't refuse. However, at that time, I only had one slot available for classes. Besides math, they also hoped I could teach physics. So I told her that the only time available for physics was Saturday morning at 6 o'clock, and there was no other time! Surprisingly, he also said, "Okay, let's start this week!" I thought he would probably only manage to attend a few times like the previous student. After a few weeks, unexpectedly, he told me, "Our family really admires you! He didn't like any of the other teachers' classes, but after taking your class, he insisted that only you could teach him. At first, I thought he was just saying it casually, but I realized that he genuinely admired you from the bottom of his heart, which is why he was willing to get up so early for the class. You are truly amazing!" However, because of the exhaustion, after a few months, I discussed with the student's parents and decided to find another physics teacher for him while I continued teaching him math, thus ending this 6 o'clock morning tutoring session.

I think there are very few people who have had such an experience. After all, my classes are not like the general market rate for student tutoring. Even though my hourly fee is several hundred yuan, there are still students willing to adjust their schedules and locations to attend my classes. This is due to my deep dedication, consistently improving teaching skills, and accumulating reputation.
