On March 10, 2011, in the latest world university rankings published by The Times of the UK, a total of four Australian universities ranked in the top 100. The University of Melbourne ranked 45th, placing it at the top among all Australian universities. The Australian National University, the University of Sydney, and the University of Queensland followed closely behind. However, since this ranking did not individually rank schools after the top 50, it is only known that the Australian National University and the University of Sydney are between 51-60, while the University of Queensland is between 81-90.
