Someone asked a wise man: "Excuse me, how can I succeed?" The wise man smiled and handed him a peanut: "Squeeze it hard." The person squeezed hard, and the peanut shell broke, leaving only the kernel.
"Rub it again," said the wise man.
The person did as told, and the red seed coat was rubbed off, leaving only the white fruit.
"Pinch it again," said the wise man.
The person squeezed hard, but couldn't destroy it no matter what.
"Rub it again," said the wise man.
Of course, nothing could be rubbed off.
"Even though it has suffered repeated setbacks, it still has a strong and tenacious heart. This is the secret to success," said the wise man.
