1. A male student went to see the female professor and said he had suddenly developed an interest in history, even though studying politics was also fun. He mentioned that what makes university-level history interesting is that it doesn’t just focus on facts, but goes beyond the books, sometimes talking a lot about common people, not just leaders. This makes one think about why these events happened (question). So, this male student expressed his biggest concern (question): would pursuing a double degree mean having to write two graduation theses? The professor replied that actually, he could write one article that covers content from both disciplines, but it would need to be better, more profound, and more complex (question). However, judging from the articles this male student had previously submitted to the professor, he definitely has the ability to write such an article (question). There was a bit more discussed afterward, but I don’t quite remember it.
