After a careful analysis and comparison of the GRE reading passages and the Issue and Argument essays in the GRE writing test, we find that there are many commonalities between the two. For example, the presentation articles are actually quite similar to the Issue essays in the writing test, and similarly, the argumentation articles are very akin to the Argument essays in the writing test.
