I. Training Admission Target:
1. Individuals working in clinical nutrition, nutritional health services, catering services at healthcare facilities, hotels, government agencies, schools, large enterprises, as well as those engaged in food and health product production, sales, or other related fields who are currently involved in or interested in pursuing a career in nutrition therapy health management.
2. Secondary school graduates (or equivalent), with at least three years of work experience in nutrition, food science, or health management. Those with a college degree or higher (or equivalent) with over one year of relevant work experience.
We hope that medical workers from all levels of healthcare institutions and individuals from all sectors of society who wish to systematically learn, master, and enhance their professional knowledge in nutrition therapy management, improve their skills in nutrition treatment, health consultation, and dietary guidance, actively participate.
II. Training Content and Course Settings:
The Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Nutrition Physician Professional Committee has officially published through the People's Health Publishing House the specialized textbook for "Nutrition Therapist" titled Clinical Nutrition Science and supplementary materials.
(a) Training Objective:
This training program is a pre-certification training project for qualification assessment and certification of nutrition therapists by nutrition and health institutions. It is jointly organized by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Nutrition Physician Professional Committee and related cooperative units. The training strictly follows the requirements set by the Ministry of Health for the nutrition therapy health management professional skills examination, providing systematic training in nutrition and treatment management. This ensures trainees have a solid theoretical foundation and proficient practical skills in nutrition therapy health management, laying a good foundation for future work in this field. For hospital-based students who pass the exam, they can support the establishment of a nutrition department in their respective hospitals.
(b) Training Requirements:
After the training, students should possess the following knowledge and abilities:
1. Master the basic theoretical knowledge of nutrition therapy health management;
2. Understand and grasp the nutritional value and food safety knowledge and content of various foods;
3. Understand and master the important role of nutrients in human health, comprehending the different effects of various nutrients on the body, as well as the symptoms exhibited when the body lacks certain nutrients and possible diseases that may arise;
4. Be able to accurately apply the knowledge and skills learned to provide nutritional therapy health management consultations: guiding people's diet, psychology, exercise, rest, making their nutrition more balanced, their mindset more optimistic, and their exercise more reasonable; formulating optimal personal nutrition plans, nutritional therapy supplementation plans, and exercise plans; accurately determining the different nutritional needs and treatments for different disease patients and special population nutrition health management.
5. Meet other requirements set by the Ministry of Health for nutrition therapy health management professional skill services.

III. Training Methods and Time/Location:
This training is part-time continuing education, mainly conducted in the form of evening classes 2~3 times per week + Sunday afternoon sessions.
Training duration: Each session lasts for two months, with 1-2 admissions annually.

IV. Graduation Certification and Qualification Certification:
Those who successfully complete the "Nutrition Therapist" training program and pass the examination will be awarded the "Industry Qualification Certificate for Nutrition Therapists" by the Chinese Medical Doctor Association's Nutrition Physician Professional Committee.
Doctors and nurses currently employed in hospitals can also earn 10 national continuing education credits of category I (Project No.: [198] 2008 Med Assoc Training).
V. Enrollment Matters:
1. Fill out two copies of the enrollment form, available at the Continuing Education College of Guiyang Medical University.
2. Attach original ID card and three photocopies; original highest academic certificate and three photocopies; two 1-inch color photos with blue background and two standard 2-inch photos.
3. Enrollment fee (includes basic training textbooks, exam fees, and listening certificates) ¥120 per person.
4. Enrollment time: From the date of publication; each class starts upon reaching 30 participants.
