The latest 2009 China University Evaluation Ranking has been released. In fact, several rankings of this kind are published every year, including those from civilian sources, official sources, parody ones and authoritative ones. Among the so-called authoritative lists, universities have waged war of words for their different rankings. Especially the issue on which is the first between Tsinghua and Peking University has been debated for many years.
