In the "2009 China University Evaluation", Tsinghua University ranked first again with a score of 280.15, followed by Peking University and Zhejiang University in second and third place with scores of 224.66 and 219.14 respectively. So far, Tsinghua University has been ranked first for 13 consecutive years in the "Evaluation of Chinese Universities". Tsinghua University, Peking University and Zhejiang University have maintained the top three rankings among Chinese universities for 10 consecutive years. The 2009 evaluation of Chinese universities shows that Zhejiang University scored 122.01 points in scientific research for the first time, surpassing Peking University (120.74 points).
