The most pathetic onlooker in Lu Xun's writings is me. I have witnessed countless fights without ever attempting to mediate or help. Whether it's a quarrel with clothes in disarray, or an exhilarating group fight that goes on for miles until the Yellow River, I only engage my brain after the exciting climax to think about it or, shamelessly, offer some critique. Like Aunt Lu Xun, I am also someone who slaps others while wagging my tail to please them and not forgetting to throw a couple of slaps at myself, so I too have accumulated a bellyful of principles. To avoid falling into the habitual tone of criticism, I'll start by incapacitating myself first.
