On March 6, a 32-meter ladder fire truck directly purchased by the Pingjiang County Government of Yueyang City, Hunan Province at a cost of 3.8 million yuan officially entered service. The allocation of this vehicle ended the history of Pingjiang County having no elevated ladder fire truck and built a solid barrier for the fire safety protection work of Pingjiang County.

In order to adapt to the rapid development trend of urban high-rise construction and enhance the ability of fire fighting and rescue in high-rise buildings, the Pingjiang Brigade made multiple requests and reports to the county government and received support from the government leaders, who agreed to purchase a 32-meter multi-functional ladder fire truck funded by the government. The vehicle uses an original imported chassis from Germany, and is equipped with a fire pump from American Ladder Company, a 3578 fire cannon from American AKRON Company, hydraulic system, ladder system, pneumatic system, electrical system and other components, which have the characteristics of flexible operation, quick deployment, stability, and reliable safety. It can quickly deliver trapped people in the fire scene to a safe area, greatly improving the fire fighting and rescue capabilities of the troops.
