With the continuous development of Fuling's social economy, fire hazards such as high-rise buildings and chemical enterprises within the district are increasing day by day. In order to ensure the quality and technical requirements of vehicle procurement, the brigade strictly followed the centralized procurement requirements for large quantities of materials set by the headquarters, incorporating it into the centralized procurement of the headquarters and signing a contract with the winning bidder (Hubei Jiangnan Dongfeng Special Automobile Co., Ltd.). The two purchased Isuzu compressed air foam trucks are equipped with SmartCAFS200 fully automatic compressed air foam systems and rapid start-up support systems for fire trucks, water/foam dual-purpose cannons, maximum water/foam/air total discharge volume: 7500L/min; maximum flow rate (L/min): Class A foam 2600, water 3000; maximum range (m): Class A foam >40, water >50. Now both fire trucks have arrived at the brigade, where leaders of the brigade, equipment technicians, and drivers respectively conducted quality and technical inspections based on the tender documents content and learned the operation process of the compressed air foam truck under the guidance of the manufacturer's technician to ensure the normal commissioning of the vehicles.
It is reported that since 2010, the brigade has spent 20 million yuan on purchasing fire trucks and equipment. This time, the Fuling District allocated special funds to purchase compressed air foam fire trucks, fully demonstrating the emphasis and support from the district committee and district government on fire work. The brigade will also take this hardware construction as an opportunity to continuously deepen the "fire iron army" building activity, practice hard, comprehensively improve the fire fighting, disaster relief, and emergency rescue capabilities, and make greater contributions to the development of Fuling's economy and society.
