Chongqing's Porsche 3S Center Boshe Borui has revealed that the Porsche Cayenne GTS will be launched nationwide at a synchronized event held on March 29th at the Nan Shan One Tree Viewpoint. It was disclosed that the price of the Porsche Cayenne GTS will be 1.35 million yuan.
The Cayenne GTS is equipped with a 4.8-liter engine featuring direct fuel injection (DFI), which can produce an output power of 405 bhp (298 kW) at 6,500 rpm, surpassing the Cayenne S by 20 bhp. The maximum torque remains unchanged at 500 Nm, obtained at 3,500 rpm. This most sporty Porsche SUV comes standard with a six-speed automatic transmission. Compared to the Cayenne S, its axle ratio has been optimized from 3.55:1 to 4.1:1. As a result, the Cayenne GTS can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, 0.5 seconds faster than the Cayenne S model.
Standard features of the Cayenne GTS also include the Porsche Traction Management System (PTM), all-wheel drive system, and adaptive PASM chassis. To enhance handling and ride comfort, optional configurations such as pneumatic suspension systems and Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control (PDCC) active anti-roll systems are available. The newly developed 12-way sports seats and Alcantara leather upholstery emphasize the interior's sporty style.
The new Cayenne GTS is easily identifiable by its distinct exterior features: the front and rear appearance are identical to the Cayenne Turbo model, with wheel arches widened by 14 mm, providing ample space for the standard 21-inch alloy wheels and 295/35R21 tires. The GTS also offers two exclusive new paint options: GTS Red and Nordic Yellow Metallic.
According to information, the new Cayenne GTS with Tiptronic S transmission has an average fuel consumption of 13.9 liters per 100 kilometers based on EU standards.
