Three plastic bottle sports mini-games: If waste plastic bottles can be reasonably developed and utilized, they can create various unexpected parent-child games that are loved and welcomed by children. Surely, there must be empty plastic mineral water bottles at home after drinking. Don't throw them away!
1. Plastic Bottle Weightlifting
Fill a 2.5-liter plastic bottle (or two) with water. The exerciser stands with feet apart, tightly gripping the water-filled bottle with one hand (or both hands), and stretches it upwards continuously to see who completes more repetitions.
Dad demonstrates by lifting the dumbbell first, briefly explaining to the child the impact of the action on muscles such as the biceps and triceps while performing fitness exercises, then letting the child imitate Dad's actions to lift the plastic bottle.
The child can rest temporarily if feeling tired. If the dumbbell exercise seems a bit boring, the dumbbell can be rolled on the ground for fun.
Even though it is a sports game, the child will be very interested in the process of making this creative dumbbell. Note that the falling dumbbell may injure the child. Additionally, the weight should be adjusted according to the child's age.
2. Plastic Bottle Combat
If there are two empty 2-liter plastic bottles, each person can hold one and fight against each other. If there are four, they can be held separately in both hands like swinging double knives for combat.
3. Using Plastic Bottles as Water Guns (Aged 5 and above)
Drill holes into the cap of a plastic bottle to make a water gun. Change the water flow by altering the size of the hole. During hot summers, prepare more empty plastic bottles for outdoor water gun battles, which is incredibly enjoyable.
For babies, an expensive toy and a few empty cola bottles might bring the same amount of joy. As long as parents and babies use their brains and hands together, many items around them can become toys that babies love.
