07/02/2007 First illness: Nannan was just 100 days old, and she had a high fever of 39 degrees at 2 o'clock in the morning due to catching a cold. Physical cooling was ineffective, and the next day her fever rose to 40 degrees. In the afternoon, we had no choice but to go for two bottles of intravenous fluids. Two nurses held our precious one while inserting the needle, and Nannan cried loudly. Mom's heart broke, and she cried too. Mom hopes that in the future, the baby will be healthy and happy!
11/19/2007 First tooth eruption: Nannan has been suffering from diarrhea for nearly a month now, not very severe, just a bit loose, twice a day. We kept running to the hospital out of worry, getting her stool tested, but there were no problems found. Until today, when Dad fed her some plain noodles and discovered that she had grown two lower teeth, already protruding halfway out. Then the diarrhea finally stopped.
10/30/2007 First real crawling and standing: Nannan could crawl early on when she was over five months old, but it wasn't very smooth. Today, Mom noticed that she could crawl really well using both her hands and feet. Her little hands and feet could support her small body as she crawled around everywhere. She crawled to her Coco Deer and leaned on it to stand up by herself. After that, she couldn't stop trying to stand and walk while holding onto things, even attempting to let go of her hands. We were worried that at seven months old, standing and walking like this might affect her bones and growth development, but we often couldn't resist this little one who wanted to stand and walk!
12/02/2007 First class: Nannan is eight months old and officially enrolled in the Oriental Baby Stars Class. During her first parent-child class, she constantly "interfered" with the teacher and other children, shouting loudly to attract everyone's attention, and wouldn't "obey" instructions. She broke free from Mommy and crawled around everywhere, asking the teacher to hold her, pulling on other children's little feet... Mommy was truly embarrassed! She only did one thing right - when the teacher asked for a toy, she was the fastest one, heading directly towards it. She crawled over, stood up by holding onto the toy cabinet, grabbed a toy happily calling and laughing. That day, she was the youngest child in the class and the only one among five children who could crawl. Hearing the parents praise Little Muddo, Mommy secretly satisfied her "vanity" a little. Hehe...
12/09/2007 First weaning: Since Mommy has to leave the baby for a week, we had to wean Nannan at eight and a half months. Today also happens to be Daddy's 30th birthday. The baby played all day, a bit tired, so she forgot to look for Mommy's milk. But she also firmly refused the bottle and didn't drink milk, only eating some porridge. By the end of the day, Mommy's breasts were painfully engorged, hard and painful to lift her arms, and she dared not touch them. The lactation suppression medicine she took earlier had no effect at all. At around 6 pm, it got a little dark, and the little one finally remembered Mommy. She began searching for Mommy everywhere. When she saw Mommy pass by, she immediately reached out her little hand to ask for a hug. Mommy cruelly pretended not to see her. She then made sounds like a little lamb, cooing softly, but she was relatively obedient and didn't cry or make a fuss. Around 9 o'clock, Grandma took her to sleep, and that's when she started crying, not too severely, murmuring. She stubbornly resisted for 46 minutes. When given the bottle, she drank up 60 milliliters of milk in one breath and fell asleep. Then at 2 am, she drank another 60 milliliters, and again at 6 am, another 60 milliliters. At 8:30, when she woke up, Mommy went to see her and reached out to hold her, but she just smiled and turned to play with her toys. Heaven! How could she forget Mommy and the taste of breastfeeding after just one night? On December 11th, the baby has been weaned for three days, and she's doing well, drinking milk from her bottle during the day and night. Whenever she makes cooing sounds, it means she's hungry. After drinking milk, she sleeps peacefully. Weaning successful, the baby is really obedient and capable! Mommy has to leave on December 12th. Mommy is the person in the world who loves the baby the most and really doesn't want to leave the baby. So during the time Mommy isn't with the baby, the baby should be happy and enjoy food, drink, play, and have fun. Mommy will properly compensate the baby when she returns. Also, Nannan, when you grow up, be good to Daddy, Grandma, and Grandpa! Because they love the baby very much and take care of the baby every day with great care and patience!
