Sha Minnong is a media professional who successively founded and served as the editor-in-chief of four securities newspapers: *Dajiangnan Securities*, *Securities Grand Reference*, *Securities Grand Wisdom*, and *Stock Market Early 8 o'clock*. He currently serves as the deputy editor-in-chief of *Xian Dai Kuai Bao* (Modern Express), a key newspaper under the Xinhua News Agency, and as a guest professor in the New Media Department at Nanjing University's Jinling College.
Born on May 19, 1949, into the Hui ethnic group, he developed a passion for literature from a young age due to the influence of his elder brother. He has published hundreds of short-short stories (micro-fiction) and two collections of micro-fiction, as well as several stock market essay collections and one technical book on stock trading titled *I Can Be a Stock Commentator Too*.
In late April 2007, he started blogging on Sina and Sohu. By December 31 of the same year, the total number of clicks on both "Old Sha Blogs" had reached 1.95 billion in just eight months.
