Clapping for Mead Johnson - Reflections on the Charity Sale

I just went on Mama Network to check out the post, and I'm so happy! I've been worried about the remaining medical expenses, but Mead Johnson has promised to take care of it! Xiao Zijian's surgery went smoothly, and his condition is now very stable. God is protecting this special child. Looking back on this journey, and the fundraising for Zijian's surgery, the touching moments from the charity sale are still fresh in my memory. Where there's love, there are miracles. I want to thank all the kind-hearted people, and especially Mead Johnson for their generous donation. Not only did they fully fund the charity sale that day, but they also took the initiative to cover the 40,000 yuan shortfall for Zijian's follow-up surgeries and recovery period. I really hope more companies can be like Mead Johnson, at least fully donate during charity sales instead of just breaking even!

Even though it rained that day, the atmosphere at the scene was full of warmth and emotion. Many sisters came specially from Panyu and Huadu despite the trouble. Companies like Mead Johnson and Lions Club also participated in the charity sale. Due to limited photography skills, most of the pictures were taken from Mama Network, hehe. There were a lot of people! One of the most popular booths was filled with handmade little shoes. A kind mother made them specifically after hearing about helping Xiao Zijian, working overtime to finish them!

Unfortunately, as a volunteer, I was focused on the booth I was responsible for and didn't have time to buy anything from other booths. The clothing booth at the entrance was also very popular. However, the most popular booth that day might have been Mead Johnson's. Many families bought an entire box at once, and the most astonishing was Sister 7 who bought 3 boxes of Enfamil. Despite her actions, I still deeply admire Sister 7. She has a child with congenital heart disease, so she understands Xiao Zijian's difficulties better than the rest of us. Here, I also want to thank Sister Kaixin who was in charge of the Mead Johnson booth that day; she was very busy!

Speaking of which, one of the funniest moments that morning was watching Sister Kaixin and her team designing the Mead Johnson display. They actually used several boxes of Enfa and Enfamil to create four impressive Mead Johnson pyramids, leaving a deep impression.

The children growing up under the influence of love will surely become kind people when they grow up.

I also want to specially thank the two singers who came to perform for free, "Dear Little Child," how much I wish to see your smile again, that ever radiant smile...

For more behind-the-scenes stories from the charity sale, everyone can check out Mama Network! I am preparing to write a special blog post for Zijian! Thank you, Zijian, and thank you, Mama Network, it's been a long time since I've felt this sense of fulfillment. This may be the most important reason for starting a blog.
