(1) Conditions for setting up a special-purpose deposit account
According to the provisions of the "Bank Account Management Measures," depositors can open such an account by providing corresponding proof to their account-opening bank for funds designated for specific purposes. The scope of these specific purposes includes: funds for basic construction; funds for renovation and upgrading; and other specific purposes that require separate account management.
(2) Required supporting documents. Depositors must provide one of the following documents to their account-opening bank:
① Files approved by the competent authority for project initiation;
② Relevant national regulations or documents.
