The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security issued a notice yesterday stating that, in light of the current economic situation and actual conditions of enterprises, the adjustment of the minimum wage standard for enterprises would be temporarily postponed.
"Originally, it was supposed to be adjusted starting January 1st. Now, the postponement of the adjustment is reasonable," said Professor Wang Xiangqian, Director of the Labor Law Teaching and Research Office at China University of Labor Relations, in an interview with reporters yesterday.
