We now forward to you the Ministry of Finance's Notification (94) Caihui Xiezi No. 130 "On Strengthening the Administration of Certified Public Accountant Registration and Strictly Enforcing the Approval Process for Accounting Firms," and in conjunction with the provisions of the "Interim Measures for the Approval of Accounting Firms in the Beijing Area" and the "Interim Measures for the Approval of Certified Public Accountant Registrations in the Beijing Area," we hereby issue supplementary notifications on relevant issues as follows:
I. Relevant Issues Regarding the Application for Certified Public Accountant Registration
1. All non-practicing members (hereinafter referred to as non-practicing members) of the Chinese Institute of Certified Public Accountants who apply for certified public accountant registration must return their non-practicing member certificates.
2. Non-practicing members, and those who have passed all subjects of the national certified public accountant examination, must engage in independent auditing work at an accounting firm for at least two years, with no fewer than six audit projects, including...
