Preliminary investigations have revealed that criminals both within and outside the country used code stealers to massively duplicate credit cards. Each credit card had a maximum overdraft limit of up to 100,000 US dollars, and they defrauded goods by making purchases through card swiping at shopping malls. According to Song Dajun, the director of Zhujianlu Police Station under the Shenhe Branch of Shenyang Public Security Bureau, recently, the Zhujianlu Police Station in Shenyang received a report stating that someone was consuming with fake credit cards. The police quickly took action, arresting the main suspects Deng Chenggang and Cai Zequan, and seizing 17 counterfeit credit cards.
